Unauthorized immigrants gets$1,000 to leave the country: Trump
According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Trump government had got started with attempts toward offering a $1,000 cash grant along with travel assistance to any undocumented entrant who chooses to voluntarily depart the United States.

In a statement, DHS goes on to say: “Self-deportation is the best, safest, and most cost-effective way to leave the United States to avoid arrest.” The scheme is being offered through the CBP One Mobile App.
“Self-deportation is the best, safest and most cost-effective way to leave the United States to avoid arrest if you are here illegally.
The Department of Homeland Security is now paying for financial travel assistance and a stipend to enable voluntary return through the CBP Home App,” said Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem.

Researching into immigration enforcement is an ongoing project throughout the presidency and re-election campaign of Donald Trump; however, it is said to be a very costly matter. DHS claims that arresting, detaining, and deporting a person with no legal status yields an aggravated cost of approximately $17,000.
The agency went on to say that the advantage of the stipend program is that it costs less, and it has already been put to use.
“One individual entered the country under the Biden administration and, making use of the program, returned to Honduras via an aircraft out of Chicago,” the DHS reported. “More flights are owing in the next few weeks.”

Since the second inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20, the administration has managed to deport around 152,000 immigrants.
