Edward Odega, a 54-year-old father from Asaba, Delta State, has admitted to defiling his three dughters who are minors.
Odega, who has been taken into custody by the police, confessed that he had been sleeping with his children for the past seven years.
In a brief interview session with our a news correspondent at the police headquarters in Asaba on Saturday, Odega said, “I have three daughters, and I started sleeping with my first daughter when she was 12 years old.”
Additionally, he acknowledged having sex for the same amount of time with two other people, ages 13 and 15, respectively.
One of Odega’s daughters who had been victimized reported the incident to the police, according to Bright Edafe, the police spokesperson.
He said, “The command has arrested a father who had been defiling his three daughters for the past seven years. The three children are now aged 13, 15, and 24.
“The act was made public after DPO Ogborikoko division CSP Temi Agbede Zuokumor, who went on a school outreach on enlightenment, encountered a child who spoke up, which eventually led to the arrest of the father.”

Edafe further revealed that the three children are currently at the hospital undergoing medical check-ups.
This bizarre development comes in the wake of an alarming increase in cases of minor assaults and rape cases over the past few weeks.
