A teenage Bayelsa girl has been apprehended for allegedly stealing N150k from her parents to purchase a mobile phone for her younger lover. The girl is said to have done this to help him launch an online scam known as “Yahoo Yahoo.”
This information was revealed in a post on an X account identified as trending explained.

Driven by love, the adolescent girl allegedly stole the money to fund her boyfriend’s phony aspirations without her parents’ approval.
In photos that have gone viral online, the young girl was captured sitting on the bare floor with a boy suspected to be her boyfriend, surrounded by a group of people. The post has since generated a lot of reactions, with worried users pouring into the comment section to voice their dismay and disappointment at the unsettling development.
