Access Bank has released an official statement addressing the report of a male staff who secretly filmed 400 female colleagues in restrooms for an adult website. The bank revealed that it is cooperating with law enforcement agencies after dismissing the said staff.
Access bank’s management signed a statement following the incident, confirming that the matter had been reported to the proper authorities and that an investigation was in progress.

“We uphold a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and any form of privacy violation,”
“We are fully cooperating with the authorities and engaging with affected employees to provide all necessary support” the statement read in part.
The bank stressed that the safety, dignity, and well-being of its clients and workers continue to be its top priorities and asked the public to rely on updates provided through its official communication channels.

Following widely shared social media reports that identified the former worker as Stephen Ifeanyichukwu Ejezie, a former quality assurance expert at Access Bank’s contact centre in Oniru, Lagos, the reaction was made.
Ejezie allegedly secretly recorded hundreds of video footage of coworkers before being discovered in the women’s restroom at 1:30 am on Wednesday.
Some affected employees have voiced concerns about their chances of receiving justice, despite the fact that his employment has been terminated.
As the investigations proceed, Access Bank expressed gratitude to all parties involved for their assistance and concern.
