An HIV-positive 50-year-old father was detained in Delta State’s Ughelli South Local Government Area for allegedly r3ping and infecting his 10-year-old daughter with the virus.

Police from the Otu-Jeremi Division detained the individual identified as David on Friday, April 4, 2025, according to human rights campaigner Comrade Israel Joe, who verified the incident.
He also revealed that his wife was supposedly infected with HIV by the suspect, who had been with passing the virus to women and girls in the neighborhood.
The incident was discovered after the victim got ill, malnourished and admitted to the hospital. The results of the medical examination her mother took her to at the hospital showed that she had contracted HIV.
Following interrogation, the 10-year-old girl revealed that the father had been abusing her sexually, r3ping her.

Human rights activist took to his account to share the incident. He said “A man about 50 years old called Mr. David defiled/řąpęɗ his 10-year-old daughter. The major issue is that this guy had been allegedly distributing HIV to unsuspecting teenagers and ladies in and around the town. With such wickedness, he also decided to share it with his own daughter after infesting the wife. We got him arrested during the early hours of today and medical examination on the daughter showed several penetrations from her own father. What a wicked world?”.
