The wife and daughter of Alhaji Muhammad Swasun, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State, have been abducted by unknown gunmen.
According to information received, the attack happened on Sunday night, with the attackers firing intermittently while scaling the APC chairman’s complex gate.
When the gunmen broke into one of the rooms, they discovered the chairman’s wife and daughter, who were taken away.

A party state executive council member who asked to remain anonymous spoke on the the abduction incident said, “It is true that our Chairman’s wife and daughter in Patigi were abducted yesterday night.
“He said they entered into one of the rooms where they found his wife and daughter and took them away, shooting into the air.”
Another member of the party said, “The bandits abducted his wife, Haja Fatima, and his daughter, Amina, and took them to an unknown destination.”
