Men Posing as Sexy Masseurs Caught in Robbery Stunt

Kenyans detectives have arrested Alex Mugo Wachira and Simon Chomba Mbogo for allegedly masquerading as stunning and sexy female masseuses who would offer clients the highest tier massage sessions that would later be used to rob clients of their valuables.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) made this revelation through a statement from it on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
The DCI affiliated such suspects to a robbery of client’s property, including forcefully transferring money from a client at knife point.
“Kasarani detectives have apprehended two men who have been pulling off an online con by posing as stunning females offering professional massage, only to massage away their clients’ valuables instead,” the statement read.
“The suspects, Alex Mugo Wachira, and Simon Chomba Mbogo have been luring unsuspecting clients by advertising “professional massage services” online. But they’re in for a shock, not the relaxing kind.”
“One such case victim was probably dreaming of scented oils and spa music and reported the case to Kasanani Police Station. Lured by what appeared to be two beautiful women offering a high-class massage, he rushed to what was said to be their spa house along Lumumba Drive, Kasarani.
“You know, just moments after the ‘massage’ started, that’s when things turned really ugly. The two pulled knives, unceremoniously tainted their real identity as well as the fact that they have no knowledge whatsoever about massaging. The victim was forced to transfer Sh280,000 into the phone number of the suspects, robbed of his belongings, and shortly after, thrown out.
“In the course of investigations while trailing forensic leads, the two were eventually arrested while having a good time at a chilling spot in Kamiti prison area, probably using the stolen cash.
“This duo is currently in custody undergoing processing pending arraignment.”
