Several victims in Rivers state have called out a Port Harcourt based scammer and petty thief identified as Tunde Cole after he reportedly disappeared with hundreds of thousands of individuals hard earned money.
One of the victims who is a Chef took to her Instagram account to share multiple stories of how the suspect had defrauded several other victims including herself. She wrote ” the young man in this photo is a petty thief who scams young women and men of their hard earned money”
The source further urged members of the public who may have been victimized by the scammer to come forward.
She said ” If you’ve been a victim of Olatunde Goodwill Cole, please come out o, speak up lets stop him once and for all”
Reports gathered by our correspondents reveal that the suspect sometimes contacts victims who are business people claiming to have equipment and products that they need and after receiving payments for the items, makes away with the monies
According to the source, one of his victims revealed that the scammer is known for his notorious acts, has deactivated all his social media accounts and is currently on the run from the state to evade security agencies.
Residents have been advised to mark the suspect’s face and stay alert to protect themselves from further victimisation by the said scammer.
Other victims while seeking for justice also stated that the suspect uses emotional blackmail among others to get to his victims.
