Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, despite scoring on his Nigeria debut, was left frustrated after a 1-1 draw with South Africa in a World Cup qualifier.

Dele-Bashiru expressed disappointment on Instagram, saying, “Happy to score on my competitive debut for Nigeria, disappointing not to come away with 3 pts, now all focus is on Monday.”

The Super Eagles midfielder’s joy was short-lived as he had to leave the field shortly after his goal.

The Super Eagles remain winless in their World Cup qualifying campaign, with three draws from three matches.
