The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed the arrest of Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, south-west zonal coordinator of the women wing of the City Boy Movement, over an alleged case of fraud.
EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale confirmed her detention to TheCable on Saturday.
Recall that the anti-graft agency declared Tejuosho wanted in April over alleged fraud.
The EFCC accused her of obtaining money through false pretences.
“She is in our custody,” Oyewale confirmed.
Her arrest comes months after the anti-graft agency declared Tejuosho wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged fraud.

Backstory…
Tejuosho, 41, was reportedly declared wanted by the EFCC in April over allegations of obtaining money through deception.
The commission listed her last known address as House A26, Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja, and identified her as a native of Lagos State.
The EFCC urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the nearest police station, other security agencies or any of its offices across the country.
The commission had previously investigated Tejuosho over allegations of appointment and contract fraud.
The investigative panel interrogated her in June 2025 following petitions alleging she received funds from individuals in exchange for facilitating lucrative federal government contracts and appointments.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) investigation focused primarily on allegations that she utilized forged documents and fabricated appointment letters to convince victims of her capacity to secure government contracts and positions.
Tejuosho, founder of Haleems Integrated Services Limited, was subsequently granted administrative bail pending the conclusion of the ongoing probe.
Suspension from City Boy Movement
Following the EFCC’s announcement in April, the City Boy Movement suspended Tejuosho from her role as Southwest Zonal Coordinator of its women’s wing.
The organization stated that the suspension took immediate effect pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
According to the group, the decision was an administrative measure aimed at safeguarding its reputation, integrity, and core values.
The movement added that her suspension would allow the investigative process to proceed without interference, hindrance, or undue influence.
