Eghosa Osas, a Man From Abroad, was killed by a childhood friend at a Party in Edo State
A 43-year-old Amadin Williams has just been arrested by the Edo Police State Command for allegedly killing his childhood friend, Eghosa Osas, during a housewarming party in the Oben community in Edo State.

According to reports, Osas had just returned home from abroad with his family to celebrate the festive season with his extended family and friends.
Following the incident, the recently appointed state police public relations officer, ASP Eno Ikoedem, said Osas’s elder brother reported the case to the state police command, who swiftly went in for the arrest and confirmation of the deceased.

Ikoedem said, “I can confirm that Eghosa Osas, 43 years old, was killed by his childhood friend, Amadin Williams, for reasons yet to be ascertained. The late Eghosa had returned from abroad to celebrate Christmas with his family. He was attacked and killed at Oben Community during a housewarming party.”
The State PPRO also stated that the deceased had gone out to relieve himself during the party, only to be met with William’s machete on his neck that led to his death. The accused will be charged in court once investigations are concluded.

She said, “The report of the murder of Eghosa Osas is true, and the suspect, Amadin Williams, believed to be his childhood friend, is in custody. Investigation is ongoing, and the suspect will be charged in court as soon as the investigation is concluded.”
