Singer 9ice, whose real name is Alexander Abolore Adegbola Akande, has asserted that the devil rules the music business and advised musicians to be careful with the language they use in their songs.
This was revealed by the “Gongo Aso” crooner on the Nancy Isime Show, which the host posted on Instagram on Saturday.

According to him, musicians smoke because they are influenced by the devil.
The 45-year-old performer claims that his conviction stems from years of experience in the entertainment industry and that the devil’s spiritual impact on music is genuine.
“I was talking about Grammy and I wasn’t given, but Burna Boy got it. That’s why I said when you sing as an artiste, watch what you say in words. Because devil controls music. Devil is the choirmaster. That’s why we smoke, we do all these things. Music generally, devil controls the music. If you are coming to this industry, understand where you’re coming to. I’m not lying to you.
“He (God) says (to Devil) go to the world, let me see how many will follow you. Let me stay there, let’s see how many will follow me. Devil is the most powerful angel,” 9ice said.
