Nigerian music star Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has surpassed 9 billion streams on Spotify across all credited works.

This achievement makes Ayodeji Balogun the first African artist to reach this milestone on the platform.

Ayodeji Balogun most streamed track on Spotify remains the global hit One Dance, a collaboration with Canadian artist Drake and British singer Kyla, which has amassed 3.7 billion streams.

The song is among the top 10 most streamed songs of all time on Spotify. The song also holds the Guinness World Record for being the first single to surpass 1 billion streams on the platform.

Wizkid’s most streamed lead single on Spotify is the Tems-assisted ‘Essence’ with over 303 million streams.

American singer, Taylor Swift remains the most streamed artist on Spotify with over 1.5 billion streams.
