Family drama: Cubana Chief Priest’s brother tenders public apology to him
Nigerian Socialite Cubana Chief Priest’s alleged cousin Bethel Okechukwu, has taken to social media to extend a public apology to his brother.
The apology comes after Bethel’s involvement in the saga between Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest.
Recall that Burna Boy had allegedly gifted Bethel a whooping sum of 49 million naira which came across to fans as a deliberate act to spite Cubana Chief Priest.
According to reports, Bethel had invested the said sum in his business.
In a recent interview with Lucky Udu, Bethel has expressed remorse for his actions and words that may have presented Cubana Chief Priest in a negative light.
He stated that it was never his intention for things to turn out the way they did.
In his apology, he appealed to Chief Priest to forgive him and unblock him on social media.
He said; senior bros, abeg, in fact i think I have to speak my language . I actually want to talk to him. This particular message is for him. My brother, please don’t be angry, in any way I have spoken to you wrongly. Anyhow, I spoke bad against you which I never knew, I’m sorry. Please forgive, we are all humans , we no dey know everything finish. what I had in mind doing that video was just to get your attention to pity me and help me musically, link me up. Because sometimes, to go shows na problem, people no dey gree feature me, I know how many times I don go show but I no dey fit sing, I no dey do anything I go come back. Na why I need for you to just link me up.
At least, some shows wey go hard me, you go tell them ,make them allow me perform, at least from there I go make am musically. I never knew the interview would turn out that way. Some people come dey twist the matter the way I no talk am . Please, my brother forgive me, they said the anger of a brother should not get to the heart. My Igbo people, help me to beg my cousin brother Cubana ChiefPriest, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, to forgive me in any way I’ve offended him. I had no intentions making that video at all. I thought he would say ‘oh my brother come’. that’s what I was expecting, I didn’t know it would turn out this way please. Please, everyone help me beg for forgiveness, please unblock me, I love you brother. It won’t be good that when we see ourselves in the village we will be bearing grudges. please forgive me brother, I love you.
