Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed that starting a family is not on his radar for the time being.
The 34-year-old Afrobeats star explained that he prefers not to settle down while actively touring and has no plans to step away from life on the road anytime soon.
Burna Boy made this known during a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra in London, England.
The interviewer asked: “Is a family something you would like to start soon?”
Burna Boy replied: “Yeah, but I don’t want to start that on the road. I’m not planning of quitting tours anytime soon, so I don’t know where to now put that [starting a family]; find a middle ground.”
The ‘African Giant’ crooner disclosed that one of the reasons he doesn’t go on holidays is because he doesn’t have children.
According to him, he hasn’t gone on a holiday since the start of his music career.
