Superstar Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, popularly known by his stage name Davido, has formally announced the date of his long awaited white wedding to Chioma.
Recall that Davido and Chioma previously had their extravagant traditional wedding which took place at Eko Hotels in Lagos on June 25, 2024, and was attended by a number of dignitaries and celebrities from around the world.
The star studded event which was hash tagged #chivido was said to have been strictly on invitation with many uninvited guests held back at the entrance and prevented from attending the event.
Davido recently disclosed in an interview that his long awaited white wedding to Chioma will happen in August 2025 in Miami, USA.
He said, “I’m doing my white wedding in Miami, in August.”
Davido shared details about his connection with Chioma, also taking the opportunity to share intimate details regarding their tragic passing of their son Ifeanyi’s in 2023. The singer further confirmed that himself and Chioma now have twins with the boy acting and behaving exactly like their late son Ifeanyi.
He added; “Our relationship was in the public eye and a lot of things have happened, apart from us loosing our child.” the singer revealed.
“We’ve got twins now; a boy and a girl… and the boy looks exactly like my son that passed. They act the same. Everything he used to do, he does” He added.
