Man finds out bride’s true gender 12 days after wedding.
An Indonesian man named AK, 26, recently made a startling discovery about his spouse, Adinda Kanza, also 26, just twelve days after their wedding. The couple had met on Instagram in 2023 and dated in person for a year before tying the knot.
During their courtship, Adinda, who wore a traditional Muslim niqab that covered her entire face, reportedly convinced AK of her devoutness to Islam. The couple decided to marry in a small ceremony at AK’s home, believing Adinda had no living family members.
However, shortly after their wedding on April 12, AK grew suspicious of his new bride’s behavior. Adinda frequently avoided intimacy by claiming to be on her period or feeling unwell. She also refused to engage with AK’s family and continued wearing her niqab at home.
These suspicions led AK to investigate Adinda’s past, and he was shocked to discover her parents alive and well at their former address. Adinda’s parents revealed that their child was actually a man named ESH, who had been cross-dressing since 2020. They were unaware of ESH’s relationship with AK, let alone their marriage.
Authorities noted that Adinda, or ESH, convincingly portrayed a female identity, even fooling AK and his family. They described ESH as having a gentle voice and demeanor, which further concealed his true gender.
ESH was subsequently arrested and faces fraud charges for allegedly marrying AK with the intention of stealing his family’s assets. Police believe ESH enjoyed pretending to be a woman while dating men and had previously been involved in relationships with women.
The investigation into this unusual case is ongoing, shedding light on the complexities of identity and deception
