Stellamaris Okafor, the wife of late Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu has taken to social media to mourn the actor on his birthday
The actor born on October 17, 1961, passed away on March 2, 2024. At the age of 62 from a cardiac arrest at Evercare Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria,. He was laid to rest in his hometown on Friday, June 28, 2024.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, accompanied by photos of their family, Stella shared fond memories of how Mr. Ibu cherished and celebrated his birthdays.
“Today is my late husband’s birthday (Mr. IBU). This will mark the first birthday without him celebrating with us here,”
“I can’t forget how he used to cherish and celebrate his birthdays. We miss him so much, may his soul continue to rest in eternal peace. Amen.”
