Afrobeats star Rema has called on Nigerian politicians to implement long-term solutions to address the country’s persistent challenges of hardship and poor governance. The singer criticized providing temporary relief measures, such as distributing food items, which he believes are unsustainable.
In a recent interview on ‘The Breakfast Club’, Rema emphasized the importance of creating sustainable platforms that can consistently provide for the masses. He suggested focusing on education, clothing, and shelter as essential components of a comprehensive approach to addressing the needs of the people.
Rema also revealed that he has been advising Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki on some of his policies. This highlights the singer’s engagement with political issues and his desire to contribute to positive change in Nigeria.
