The multi-talented music star said she regrets not leveraging on TikTok at the beginning of her career.

Singer Bloody Civilian blamed her “too cool” personality for her missing out on the short-video streaming platform’s virality earlier in her career.

“My biggest regret was being too cool for TikTok at the beginning of my career. God punish steeze,” Singer Bloody Civilian wrote on her X page.

In recent years, TikTok has proven to be one of the most potent means of digital music promotion which has made Singer Bloody Civilian to share her regret.

The earliest example of the platform’s vitality in music promotion in Nigeria was CKay’s 2019 sleeper hit ‘Love Nwantiti’, which TikTok gave a new life in 2021 after creators began dancing to it.
