Teni discussed the spiritual aspect of her music on a panel alongside fellow performers Taaooma and Kiekie. “My passion is music. I’m motivated by that,” she remarked. “I’ve realised that I can’t rush the process, even though everyone wants to be number one. God is the source of hit tunes. I am merely a vehicle through which He delivers them.

The “Billionaire” performer stressed that her artistic process is guided by patience and purpose rather than pressure for immediate financial success.

When questioned about where her popular song “Money” came from, According to Teni, it was written years ago, long before anyone heard it. She revealed, “I wrote Money five years ago.”

“The timing of its publication simply wasn’t appropriate. I waited until I thought that message needed to be heard. The response didn’t surprise me when I eventually dropped it,” she added.

Recalling her time in Los Angeles, Teni added: “I was there for about three months, and I’d play the song anytime I got in an Uber. I wouldn’t say anything about it being mine, and the drivers would always compliment the song. That’s when I knew it had something special.”
