VeryDarkMan Has Been Arrested AGAIN by Nigerian police.
Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as Verydarkman (VDM), has once again found himself in a tight spot with the Nigerian Police.
The arrest stems from a recent viral video where VDM dressed up as a police officer and introduced himself as the “CSP of the Online Division.” This act didn’t sit well with authorities, who saw it as an unauthorized misuse of the official police uniform.
Shortly after the video went viral, VDM was summoned to the station. Trying to calm things down, he showed up, explained his intentions, and even apologized. However, his explanation wasn’t enough to sway the police, who launched a formal investigation.
As the situation escalated, VDM’s close friend and ally, Dkokopee, took to social media to expose what he claimed was a troubling turn of events.
In a heartfelt post, he revealed that Verydarkman had been detained and was being subjected to harsh treatment in custody.
According to Dkokopee, the police even escorted VDM back to his home, insisting on searching for the “uniform” used in the video.
Despite VDM’s efforts to clarify the situation, Dkokopee explained that the police held firm, refusing to release him.
Verydarkman was reportedly held overnight and is expected to appear in court soon on charges tied to his “unauthorized use” of police attire.
Dkokopee expressed frustration, arguing that this arrest might be more than just about a costume—it might be an attempt to silence VDM, who has been outspoken about government accountability and transparency.
This move has stirred mixed reactions across social media. While VDM’s supporters are calling for his release, citing freedom of expression, others argue that official symbols and uniforms should be respected.
As the dust settles, Verydarkman’s upcoming court appearance is highly anticipated by fans and critics alike, with some seeing it as a test of free speech and others as a matter of respecting the law.
