Nedu Wazobia denies fraud and drug allegations made by Verydarkman emphasizing that he has no involvement in any ilegal activities.
Nigerian media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, populary known as Nedu Wazobia, has firmly denied recent allegations made by social media critic Vincent Martins Otse, also known as Verydarkman (VDM). He has reacted to a viral leaked audio linking him to hard drugs and fraud. he accused Nedu of involvement in hard drugs and fraudulent activities in Turkey, South Africa, and Morocco.

On Wednesday February 26, 2025,the social media critic Verydarkman submitted a petition to the Turkey, South Africa, and Morocco embassies in Nigerian.
According to Nedu he said,
“Hello everyone, this is not a joke anymore I know nothing about that voice note going around. I did not make that voice note. While this seems to be fun and games, I’ve never and will never be part of anything criminal”.
VeryDarkMan stormed the embassies of South Africa, Turkey and Morocco in Nigeria to alert them about Nedu’s alleged involvement in drug deals and fraud in their countries.
He made the development public in a video of his visit, shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday evening.
Verydarkman submitted the petition along with an alleged audio recording of Nedu in conversation with his friends, who are purportedly Yahoo Boys and drug dealers in those countries.
Captioning the video, he wrote: “If they try to bring you down and you survive, make sure they don’t. EXTREMIST #RATEL.”
This follows the escalating social media class between the two, triggered by comedian Deeone’s comments about VeryDarkMan during an interview with Nedu on the Honest Bunch podcast.
Meanwhile on 25, February 2025, Nedu serves VeryDarkMan N500m compensation notice for defamation.
VeryDarkMan reported this in a post on his Instagram page

However, they requested that VeryDarkMan “retract every video involving Nedu on all of his platforms within 24 hours of receiving the notice, issue a public apology, and pay the sum of N500m for the damage caused to Nedu’s reputation.”
