A shocking video of two Nigerian soldiers brutally assaulting a driver has caused a storm on social media, leaving many furious and heartbroken.

The disturbing clip shows the soldiers, dressed in full camouflage uniforms, dragging a driver out of his car and unleashing a series of blows on him.

The incident reportedly began after the driver allegedly hit their car, though he can be heard pleading his case. “How did I bash your car?” he asks desperately, trying to reason with them.

A woman seated beside him also cried out, “He is not feeling fine,” but her pleas fell on deaf ears. The soldiers ignored her and continued their assault, displaying no mercy.

The video has sparked massive backlash from Nigerians, with many calling for justice. Activist Verydarkman did not hold back, slamming the soldiers for their behavior. He labeled them as shameless and dishonorable, demanding their dismissal from the Nigerian Army.

“To this army officer, you have no honor. You are shameless! To the Nigerian Army, we call for the dismissal of this undisciplined officer,” he wrote. “Uniformed men should know their place in society. They are meant to serve and protect, not bully, oppress, and abuse their power.”

Comic star and activist Mr. Macaroni also weighed in, expressing his frustration on social media. He condemned the soldiers for their actions, emphasizing the irony of oppressing the very civilians they are supposed to protect.

“Shameless brutes! Flexing their muscles on defenseless civilians,” he wrote. “It’s always so sad to see scenes like this, with no solidarity from Nigerians witnessing the oppression in real time.”

Social media users have flooded the comment sections with outrage, calling for swift action against the officers involved. Many expressed their sadness over such abuse of power, highlighting the growing mistrust between civilians and security forces.

This incident has reignited conversations about accountability within the armed forces and the urgent need for reforms.

Nigerians are demanding not just justice for the victim but also a shift in how authority figures interact with the public they’re sworn to protect.
