Fani-Kayode Blasts Dele Momodu, Says Tinubu fed Momodu for 40 years

Nigerian ambassador-designate, Femi Fani-Kayode has slammed Ovation Magazine publisher Dele Momodu for 40 years, claiming that President Tinubu fed the later for 40 years.

In a statement released on Thursday, Fani-Kayode warned that Momodu should desist from insulting Tinubu.

This follows Momodu’s criticism of the President in an earlier TV interview on Channels Television.

Recall that during the interview, Dele Momodu compared Tinubu’s style of government to the dictatorship of the late General Sani Abacha, the previous military head of state.

In response, Fani-Kayode called the remark “misguided, uncharitable, and a reflection of a worrying level of cognitive dissonance.”

He requested that the head of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), who he claimed had fed and accommodated him for forty years, not attacking the President going forward.

“Unlike Dele, I did not benefit from him (Tinubu) for close to 40 years, eat from his plate, collect handouts from him.

“I did not stay in his house, claim to be his brother and yet refuse to support him in achieving his dream of becoming President,” Fani-Kayode said.
