Belinda Effah, a former Nollywood actress, who is now currently based in the US and goes by the name Grace-Charis Bassey Effah, has formally disclosed her engagement.
Taking to her Facebook page, the actress shared photos of herself and her man, with his face hidden. She flashed her engagement ring in the photos.
In one post, Effah wrote: “Answered prayers.” Expressing her excitement and joy in another post, she wrote: “It feels like a dream, but when true love finds you, you melt.”
She also made a third post stating that “Age is just a number, found someone worth walking life with. Beyond blessed.”

Who is Belinda Effah?
Belinda Effah, now known as Grace-Charis Bassey, rose to prominence as one of Nollywood’s familiar faces after making her acting debut in the television series Shallow Waters.
She went on to feature in numerous films and television productions, earning recognition for her versatility and on-screen presence. During her acting career, she received several award nominations and built a loyal fan base with roles spanning romance, drama, and comedy.
In recent years, however, the actress took an unexpected turn away from the Nigerian film industry. In 2024, she announced that she had enlisted in the United States Army, describing the move as the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
