Former Governor of Rivers State, Dr Peter Odili, has reassured Governor Siminalayi Fubara of his full support following the political crisis rocking the state.
During an event in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, the former governor assured the governor that the people of the state are firmly with him, urging him to remain strong.
He said, “Your people are with you, and they have asked me to tell you that you are the political leader of Rivers State.

“Rivers people said that wherever you go, we will go with you. Wherever you stand, we will stand with you. You are standing on firm ground. Stand there and hold on to God.”
According to reports, former governor Peter Odili’s remarks followed the renewed face-off between Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
