Kwankwaso was reportedly quoted making the remark amid recent political developments, including discussions surrounding Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s alleged move to the APC.
Reacting via a post on his social media platforms, Ganduje dismissed the label, describing it as unnecessary and expressing surprise at the claim.

He said “I’m Shocked And Sad When I Heard My Bosom Friend Rabiu Kwankwaso, referring to Me As His “Enemy.”
Ganduje added, “at No Point Did I See Him As Enemy, We Have Gone Too Far Beyond This.”
The Former APC National Chairman said, “I Think There’s No Better Time For A United Kano Than NOW. I Urge Him To Calm Down With Politics And Take It Easy With Himself”.
