Ex Big brother naija housemate Nengi Hampton welcomes first child

Reality TV personality Nengi Rebecca Hampson has officially become a mother, after she welcomed her first child.

Nengi, who is a native of Bayelsa State, took to her social media page on March 9th, 2025, to share the exciting news with her fans, publicly announcing the arrival of her newborn.

Recall that the reality TV star initially gained fame in 2020 after participating in the Big Brother Naija show, where she made it to the finals and caught the attention of viewers over her chemistry with fellow housemate Ozo.

Recently, she became the center of a controversy with rumours alleging that she was pregnant for the Governor of Bayelsa State, a 65-year-old governor with four wives.

However, she quickly debunked the rumours , stating that while she was indeed pregnant, the rumors about the father were false, and she requested privacy.

Sharing adorable photos and a video of her baby, an overjoyed Nengi wrote, “The purest form of love… I received the most precious gift on 21-02. My greatest blessing, my heart in human form, my purpose. God knew I needed you, my baby… I love you more than words could ever explain. It’s us forever.”

The reality TV star is yet to disclose any information about the biological father of the child.
