Nigerian singer Brymo has declared that fellow artiste Burna Boy will have to “pay” for allegedly offending him, reigniting the long-running feud between the two musicians.
Brymo made the remark while reflecting on their public disagreement, including Burna Boy’s viral freestyle containing the lyric, “Hustle make you no go fall off like Brymo.”
The rift between the two artistes dates back to 2023, after Brymo accused Burna Boy of drawing inspiration from his work without giving him credit.
Burna Boy later appeared to respond with a freestyle that quickly went viral, featuring the line referencing Brymo.
Speaking during a recent appearance on the NotJustOk podcast, Brymo alleged that Burna Boy had wronged him and vowed to retaliate.
According to the singer, Burna Boy had underestimated the situation and would eventually face the consequences of his actions.
“Your name no go ever appear for my song for life. You’re too small, who is your mate? I don’t care what fraternity you belong to. He has wronged me and I must take revenge,” Brymo said.
As of the time of filing this report, Burna Boy has not publicly responded to Brymo’s latest remarks.
