Job Title: ICT Support Officer (Intern)

Locations: Abuja FCT, Benue, Enugu, Kaduna & Nasarawa
Employment Type: Internship

Job Summary 

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ICT Support Intern to assist in maintaining the organization’s information technology infrastructure and providing technical support to staff.
• The successful candidate will gain practical experience in IT support, systems administration, cybersecurity, network management, and digital collaboration tools within a dynamic development organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other ICT equipment.
• Support the management of organizational email accounts and digital collaboration platforms.
• Troubleshoot system and connectivity issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
• Assist in maintaining ICT inventory and asset records.
• Support data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
• Participate in ICT training and capacity-building sessions for staff.
• Assist in website updates and digital platform maintenance where required.
• Prepare technical documentation and user guides.
• Perform other ICT-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, operating systems, and office productivity tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and internet technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles is an added advantage.
