Popular Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has alleged that IShowSpeed’s recent tour across Africa was secretly a surveillance mission linked to Elon Musk.
In a viral video circulating online, Seun Kuti said he only became aware of the claim a few days ago. He further explained that he had previously been contacted by the tour’s promoter and producer.
According to him, the tour was allegedly sponsored to assess the extent of satellite coverage across Africa.
Seunn Kuti said, “You can’t know the deals they’re making behind the scenes. You can’t know the people they’re talking to behind the scenes. You just think they’re coming to talk to you but they all have agender.
“After IShowSpeed’s promoter and producer of his African tour called that we want to see you and I agreed. But they didn’t call me again or come to the shrine again when they reached Nigeria, and the promoter is my friend but I don’t want to mention the name.
“I called and sent messages but none of them responded. After the whole thing, he started sending me some kind of yeye message. Well e no even concern me too much because I don’t really mind, so I let it go.
“Only to find out the day before yesterday that Elon Musk was the one that sponsored the whole thing to know where his satellite don reach for Africa. That’s why they were visiting bushy areas. So, all that was a spy job for Elon Musk”, he claimed.
Recalls that IShowSpeed, a famous American streamer and influencer, who visited 20 Africa countries in January 2026, stated that the tour was to promote African culture.
