Salary Package: N200k to N400k depending on experience

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead our sales efforts in each state across the country. The ASM will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring that our company maintains a strong presence in the appliances market within their assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy Development
Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans tailored to the specific needs of each state.
Identify target markets, set realistic sales goals, and implement strategies to achieve these objectives.
2. Team Management
Lead, motivate, train, coach, and provide feedback to a team of sales representatives.
Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
Develop incentive programs to enhance performance.
3. Customer Relations
Build strong relationships with key customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track sales performance regularly using data analytics tools.
Prepare detailed reports on progress toward targets for senior management review.
5. Market Analysis & Competitor Insight
Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities within the region.
Use this information to refine strategies for competitive advantage.
6. Budgeting & Forecasting
Manage regional budgets effectively by forecasting expenses accurately.
7. Marketing Initiatives
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that support regional objectives.
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management within the home appliances industry
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets consistently
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate teams
• Excellent communication (verbal/written), negotiation skills, fluent in English
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite
