Job Title: Sales Manager (Edible Oil)
Location: Lagos / Benin
Salary Range: ₦400K – ₦800K Net
Reports To: Local Sales Manager
Experience: 2–6 years in sales (must have edible oil/vegetable oil/soya oil sales experience)
Our client is a fully integrated Agro-Industrial establishment with diverse subsidiaries in Nigeria, committed to driving growth in agriculture and food processing. They are seeking a young, sharp, and dynamic Sales Manager with proven expertise in selling vegetable oil, edible oil, or soya oil to join their commercial team.
Role Overview.
As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market share, driving sales growth, and building strong customer relationships. You will oversee sales operations within your territory, ensuring revenue targets are met while maintaining a deep understanding of the edible oil market.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales of vegetable oil, edible oil, and soya oil products across assigned territories.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key customers.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence reports.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
Collaborate with the Local Sales Manager to align sales initiatives with company goals.
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve client issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
2–6 years of proven sales experience in vegetable oil, edible oil, or soya oil (MANDATORY).
Strong track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
Highly motivated, energetic, and results-driven.
Willingness to travel within assigned territories.
