A clash in Jos North Local Government Area (LGA) left one person dead and many others injured on Wednesday, after the Plateau State Government relaxed the 48-hour curfew it imposed on Sunday.
Residents are in a panic as a result of the scenario, which has forced vendors who had previously started operating again to close their stores and run for their lives.
Witnesses recount scenes of uncertainty as people ran for safety in anticipation of more strikes.

Although authorities have not yet formally confirmed the most recent events, security is reportedly becoming more prevalent in the impacted districts.
Authorities are urging residents to remain calm and vigilant as efforts continue to restore order.
Anguwan Rukuba Attack
Recall that about 10 persons were reported dead with many others severely injured after heavily armed gunmen invaded unsuspecting residents of Angwan Rukuba community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State on Sunday.

The attack happened in the evening near the Anguwan Rukuba intersection, according to a local who spoke to Channels Television over the phone on condition of anonymity.
Following the attack, irate young people allegedly blocked the community’s main thoroughfares, increasing concerns that tensions would rise.

The most recent attack occurred weeks after highly armed bandits reportedly ambushed a combined patrol team in Wanka and the other settlements of the Garga area in the state’s Kanam Local Government Area, killing at least twenty security personnel and vigilantes.
