The Kebbi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abubakar Kana, has downplayed the relevance of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the state, describing the party as politically insignificant.

Speaking in Kaoje town during the flag-off of fertiliser and farm input distribution by the member representing Bagudu/Suru Federal Constituency, Kana dismissed the ADC as being driven by a handful of “immature youths” with no real political influence in Kebbi.
He also criticised some APC members in key government positions for neglecting their constituents, accusing them of relocating to the state capital to avoid helping their communities.
Kana warned that the party might recommend their removal from office if the behaviour continued.
