Popular media personality and content creator Kolu has appealed to fellow entertainer Carter Efe to lend him ₦7 million to help secure the release of singer Portable from prison.

Kolu made the emotional appeal on Thursday during a Twitch livestream with Carter Efe. When asked why he was so invested in Portable’s situation, Kolu explained that the controversial singer played a major role in his rise to fame.
Speaking in Pidgin, he said, “Portable bring me come Lagos, I come blow. Na him help my life.”
Recall that Portable was remanded in prison on Tuesday by the Federal High Court in Ota, Ogun State, over allegations bordering on car theft and assault involving his baby mama, Ashabi Simple.
Portable was also reportedly handcuffed and beaten in police custody.
