At least three powerful explosions have been heard in Tehran as jets flew over the Iranian capital during a new round of attacks.
The explosions happened following increased aerial activity over the city, according to Al Jazeera.
They said, “fighters are seen circling above Tehran.”
According to reports, military planes were flying over the capital when the explosions occurred.

Reports also claimed that “at least three powerful explosions have been heard,” confirming the extent of the disaster.
Although the precise locations of the explosions are still unknown, they were reported as loud and powerful.
There has been no immediate official statement from authorities on the cause of the blasts or possible casualties.

The development signals a fresh escalation, with renewed attacks reported in the capital. This comes barely 48 hours after US president, Donald Trump issues a fresh deadline to Iran over the Strait of Hormuz.
Residents have been thrown into fear and panic as the situation continues to unfold.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) had announced on Monday that it conducted a series of precision strikes targeting critical Iranian military and industrial infrastructure, including three airports in Tehran and the country’s largest petrochemical complex.

In a statement posted on X, the IDF had said, “Numerous aerial assets, including aircraft and helicopters, as well as additional military infrastructure at 3 airports across Tehran —the Bahram, Mehrabad & Azmayesh Airports” were struck.
