The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is currently holding a meeting with domestic airline operators across the country.
The meeting with NCAA, taking place in Abuja, comes in response to growing concerns over frequent flight disruptions and the conduct of some airline staff, among other pressing issues.
The discussions also cover regulatory matters related to unruly passenger behaviour and protocols for passenger handling, according to industry sources.
The meeting is also deliberating on unresolved refunds or compensation issues, as well as the enforcement of phone switch-off instructions, protection for cabin crew, and improved travel experience for passengers.
