Some Nigerian filling stations have reportedly reduced petrol prices amid crude oil price volatility.
According to the sources, fuel pump rates at Ranoil and Sharon filling stations in Abuja and the surrounding areas were lowered from N1,300 to N1,280 per litre.
This indicates that retail petrol stations cut their petrol prices by N20, or 1.54 percent.

Meanwhile, petrol is sold at MRS and Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited filling stations for N1261 per litre, which is N19 less than Ranoil and Sharon.
However, other petrol stations, such AA Rano, Empire Energy, and others, charge between N1,300 and N1,330 for petrol.

The gantry pricing at Dangote Refinery is still N1,175 per litre of gasoline as at the time this story was filed, whereas depot owners like Pinnacle, Parker, and Zamson charge between N1,192 and N1,200 per litre.
Recall that on Thursday night, the price of crude oil—more especially, Brent crude—cooled to $107 per barrel after rising to $114.
