The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and hazy weather conditions from Sunday to Tuesday across the country.
A sunny and cloudy sky was predicted for the northern area throughout the forecast period, according to NiMet’s weather outlook, which was made public in Abuja on Saturday.
Over the course of the forecast period, NiMet predicts a little dust haze over the central region.

For the duration of the forecast period, the agency predicts a little dust haze over the central region.
Additionally, its forecast isolated thunderstorms over parts of Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross River, Lagos , and Akwa Ibom states in the southern later in the day.
”On Monday, a moderate dust haze atmosphere is anticipated over the northern region throughout the forecast period. Slight dust haze is expected over the central region during the forecast period.
”Cloudy atmosphere with a few hours of sunshine is anticipated over the southern region with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Rivers States during the morning hours,” it said.
The agency states that throughout Tuesday’s forecast period, a moderate dust haze is expected over the northern region. Over the course of the forecast period, a bright and hazy atmosphere was anticipated over the central region.

It predicted a cloudy morning sky across the southern region. Over parts of Anambra, Imo, Ogun, Ondo, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Lagos, Delta, and Rivers States, the agency forecast isolated thunderstorms with light rain.
Since dust particles may be suspended over the northern region, NiMet advised the public to adopt the appropriate safety measures.
