Dickson Iroegbu, a member of the Obidient Movement and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), claims that Rabi’u Kwankwaso’s vice presidential campaign and Peter Obi’s presidential candidacy will cause potential threat to Presidential Villa.
Iroegbu made this statement on Friday during an interview on Arise Television’s “Prime Time.”

He claimed that both Kwankwaso and Peter Obi might make a significant impact in the upcoming general elections in 2027 if they recognised they could form an alliance.
Recall that the former Kano State governor was offered the position of running mate to Peter Obi in the Labour Party ahead to the 2023 general elections, but he turned it down.
He allegedly expressed regret for the choice and stated that he would have agreed to deputise Mr. Peter Obi.

According to reports, the former governor of Kano State had also declared that he would join any political party if it agreed to nominate him for president or vice president in the general elections of 2027.
“From the experience Kwankwaso has gotten now, if he has realized that he can form an alliance with Peter Obi, then the two of them can make a major statement in 2027.

“The candidacy of Peter Obi as President and Kwankwaso as Vice will definitely make the Presidential Villa lose sleep,” Iroegbu said.
