Comrade Okoh Lawrence, a former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Benue State Governor, has tendered his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), signaling a major political realignment in Ehaje Ward 11, Ogbadibo Local Government Area.

In a strongly worded resignation letter dated July 5, 2025, and addressed to the PDP Chairman of Ehaje Ward 2, Lawrence described his departure as a deeply personal decision made after “careful consideration.”
“Please accept this letter as formal notification of my resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), effective immediately,” he wrote.
Okoh Lawrence expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve as SSA to the Governor under the PDP platform, noting that his tenure was filled with “valuable experiences” and that he was grateful for the support he received during his time in office.
“I wish the party success in its future endeavors,” Okoh Lawrence added.
