BREAKING: JAMB Publishes 2025 Mock UTME Scores
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the results of the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted on Thursday, April 10.
JAMB disclosed this in a statement by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, on Sunday.
According to JAMB over 200,000 candidates registered for the Mock UTME conducted across the country on Thursday, 10 April.
However, only 126,181 candidates were able to successfully complete the examination.
The board said 73,844 candidates were absent on the day of the examination, and 88 other candidates could not clear the biometric verification screening.
JAMB further said that the results for 115,735 candidates are now ready for viewing.
“A total of 10,446 results are still in the processing stage and are going to be released soon,” it stated.
“A total of 200,115 candidates initially expressed interest in participating; however, two candidates later withdrew, making a total of 200,113 registered candidates.”
The board admitted that there was a backlog for some candidates during the examination and sympathy for any inconvenience caused.
States that challenges were expected owing to new features installed for bringing improvement in the overall conduct of the main UTME were also part of board assertions.
How to check the result
To check their results, JAMB asked candidates to text “MOCKRESULT” to either 55019 or 66019 using the phone number (SIM) registered for the examination.
The Mock UTME is an optional Computer-Based Test (CBT) just like the actual UTME and is formulated for the benefit of candidates to experience the nature of the examination before the main UTME.
JAMB insisted that Alumi Case was not said to have been designed as a mock examination under the new arrangements.
According to it, the mock exam is a trial run for UTME and also allows the board to try innovations, while making candidates understand the CBT environment.
