PDP is an iroko, undivided – Bode George makes bold claim

Bode George, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT), has reaffirmed that the party is unwavering in the face of its internal turmoil.

George said this on Friday in an interview with Politics Today, a Channels Television program.

He was reacting to the turmoil surrounding the party’s November 15 and 16 National Convention.

Recall that a definitive injunction prohibiting the party from holding its 2025 National Convention in Ibadan, Oyo State, was issued by Justice Peter Odo Lifu of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

However, despite the court’s order, delegates from across the 36 states had began arriving Ibadan for the high stakes convention.

Reacting, George said, “Majority of the members of the party know that this party is the Iroko political party in Nigeria.

“There’s no organisation that would not have disagreement or dispute but the ability of the managers to be able to tell themselves the truth defines the strength of that organisation.

“I want to reassure you that PDP is solid, this party is undivided.”
