Peter Obi made the remarks on Tuesday during a visit to Francis Cardinal Arinze Secondary School in Nkwelle Ezunaka, Anambra State.
He stressed that those who harness knowledge are the ones who succeed, and nations that embrace this principle are the ones that will thrive.
According to him, education is not an expense but the best investment any society can make in its future and its people.

“On Tuesday, January 13th, I visited Francis Cardinal Arinze Secondary School in Nkwelle Ezunaka and had the opportunity to interact with the students about the vital role of education in today’s development.
“I emphasised that the world is changing, and future progress will no longer be driven by physical assets such as land, buildings, or material possessions, but rather by ideas, knowledge, creativity, and skills. Those who control knowledge are the ones who succeed. Nations that recognise this will be the ones that thrive.
“This is why I will always support education in every way I can. As a practical demonstration of that commitment, I presented ₦10 million to help develop their school,” Peter Obi wrote.
