Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has ordered for the immediate arrest of those responsible for the murders of travelling kaduna residents by a suspected mob in Plateau State’s Mangu Local Government Area.
In a statement released by the governor, Sani denounced the mob’s barbaric behaviour and ordered security personnel to search every corner of the state to quickly apprehend those responsible.

The governor, who was displeased with this act of barbarism, promised that the Kaduna State Government will stop at nothing to bring the offenders to justice.
“We must put a stop to the nefarious activities of non-state actors. There is no justification for anybody to attack any citizen of Nigeria in any part of the country. This madness must stop. Enough is enough,” the governor said.
The victims were reportedly travelling in an 18 seater bus from Zaria in Kaduna State to attend a wedding in the Quan Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State when a mob in the Mangun district intercepted them. The mob set the travellers, killing them while several others sustained varying degrees of injury.

Caleb Mutfwang, the governor of Plateau State, was encouraged by Governor Sani to assume leadership of the issue and supervise security measures until the killers are apprehended.
