The about 287 schoolchildren abducted by terrorists in Kaduna State on March 7 have regained their freedom.
287 schoolchildren who were abducted by terrorists in Kaduna State on March 7 have been freed. Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State announced their release early Sunday morning. The children were kidnapped from LGEA Primary School, Kuriga, Chikun Local Government Area.
The terrorists stormed the school at about 8:20 am after the morning assembly and took away the pupils and teachers. Governor Sani expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, NSA Nuhu Ribadu, and the Nigerian Army for their efforts in securing the release of the abducted children.
He also thanked all Nigerians who prayed for their safe return. Governor Sani will welcome the students back in Kaduna soon. More details will be shared on the Intel Region WhatsApp group as they become available.
