Professor Patrick Muoboghare, a Delta State PDP chieftain, has advised that Atiku Abubakar, Aminu Tambuwal, and Bukola Saraki should be removed from the party.
Amidst the crisis trembling the party, Muoboghare said in an interview in Asaba that it is time for the true PDP members to kick out those involved in political prostitution.
He referred to them as serial defectors and stated that the party must take decisive action against people who pose as party members but are actually working against it.
The former commissioner stated that the PDP would never advance significantly if such individuals were not expelled, and that those who have stayed in the party are the authentic members who are dedicated to its actual direction.
He underlined that the party must endeavour to remove Atiku because, in the absence of such effort, the PDP would stagnate while others made progress.
He questioned how the economy could prosper with only carpetbaggers posing as leaders and no legitimate, vocal opposition.

The PDP is still Nigeria’s sole national party, and in order to advance, it needs to purify itself. Atiku Abubakar is one of the people who needs to be guided in order for the party to proceed,” he stated.
According to the former chairman of the Academic staff union of universities(ASUU), Atiku is a serial defector, who comes and goes at will and always believes the presidential candidate position is his.
He claims that Atiku has left and returned from every known political party and is now trying to coerce the PDP into merging with odd allies in order to form yet another nebulous party.
“Prostitution, in any way defined, is injurious. These three musketeers who have troubled our party must be shown the way out,” he stated.
He also bemoaned Atiku’s belief that he has the right to leave the PDP, join the Labour Party, and then return to the PDP, only to begin negotiating mergers with other parties under the PDP’s name.
People like Atiku Abubakar should not be allowed in a serious-minded party like the PDP, Muoboghare remarked, calling this move reckless and illegal.

By working against the PDP during Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency, he accused Tambuwal of igniting the crisis that shook the party in 2014–2015.
It is unacceptable, he said, for such individuals to return to the party after causing harm and then try to control its course.
He accused Atiku and Obi of being the cause of the current weakness of Nigeria’s opposition and described them as individuals who use the names of their parties for personal benefit.
