The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Abdullahi Bashir Haske, Atiku’s son-in-law, the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, wanted over allegations of criminal conspiracy and money laundering.
This was disclosed in a statement released on Thursday by EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, who urged members of the public to come forward with any information that could lead to Atiku’s son-in-law arrest.
“The public is hereby notified that Abdullahi Bashir Haske, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the EFCC in connection with an alleged case of criminal conspiracy and money laundering,” the statement read.
According to the Commission, Atiku’s son-in-law 38, was last known to reside at No. 6 Mosley Road, Ikoyi, and 952/953 Idejo Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The EFCC appealed to Nigerians to assist in locating Atiku’s son-in-law by reaching out to any of its offices across the country, including those in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.
The Commission added that relevant information can also be provided through its official phone lines and email address.
